Keeping complex builds moving. Across every plant handoff.

EIG uses Offsight to coordinate engineered-to-order electrical rooms, skids and panel sub-assemblies across plants in Texas and North Carolina, keeping production status, drawings, quality records and material consumption tied to each unit.

Customer challenge

What was holding the team back.

  • Two plants had to feed one final assembly process.Panels and sub-assemblies built in different locations needed live status, complete documentation and predictable handoffs before reaching final assembly.
  • Quality records had to be complete before arrival.Sign-offs, photos and verification records needed to be tied to each panel before it moved to the next plant or assembly step.
  • ETO material requirements changed by unit.Every engineered unit carried its own material requirements, which meant the workflow had to support product-level bills of materials and live consumption tracking.

Live production tracking across both plants

Offsight shows sub-assembly progress from either facility, including panels destined for final assembly. Operators capture quality sign-offs, photos and status updates on mobile so receiving teams know what is complete before it arrives.

Current drawings and SOPs at every workstation

File management workflows and APIs keep drawings and SOPs linked to the right product, process and workstation. Operators open the current revision for the unit in front of them instead of hunting through shared folders.

Unit-level material tracking for ETO work

Product bills of materials and workstation picklists give each engineered unit its own material plan. Consumption is captured as the work is performed, which makes inventory and cost reporting more accurate.

Customer value

What Offsight helps them achieve.

These value points come from the customer story and show how Offsight helps teams improve visibility, quality, labor planning and reporting.

  • Live production status shared across both factories
  • Quality records travel with each panel and sub-assembly
  • Operators work from the current drawing and SOP at each station
  • Material consumption is captured per engineered unit
