Why we built Offsight

It started on other people’s shop floors.

Offsight grew out of the years our founders, Vikas Murali and Andrew Xue, spent in Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.

Sophisticated companies delivering complex commercial projects were still running the shop floor out of spreadsheets and platforms bent into a shape they were never built for.

The reason was structural: the tools on the market assumed a fixed production line making the same thing forever.

What changed

From proving the build to running the factory.

For years, Offsight was best known as the way a factory documented its work: quality inspections, production tracking, the reports an owner or a third-party inspector needed.

A modular home, an electrical room, a bathroom pod, a wall panel, a switchgear assembly.

Then: digital travelers, checklists and conformance records that replaced the paper shuffle for off-site construction and modular plants.
Next: materials, labor, planning, logistics, machines and analytics.
Now: a full manufacturing execution system with AI as its backbone, for engineered-to-order manufacturing of every kind.
Always: the same principle, the record is finished when the unit is finished, not retyped at the end of the shift.

How we work

Built by the industry, on purpose.

Every feature in Offsight started as something a real plant asked for.

The floor is the hardest user. If an operator at a station will not use it with gloves on, it does not ship.
One system, not a suite. Production, materials, labor, planning, quality and documents share one data model.
Setup should take days. A configuration project that outlives the problem it was meant to solve is a failure, not an implementation.

Real time or it is not true. The console, the iPhone and the Android tablet stay in step over live sockets.
Your terminology, not ours. The system adapts to what your industry calls things.
Priced by the plan, not by the head. Each plan is flat for the plan with users included, and Enterprise puts the whole factory on it. Charging per person is a tax on adoption, and an MES only works when everyone is on it.
